Waters Farm Preservation, Inc. (WFPI) is dedicated to the preservation and education of historic farming in New England. As caretakers, the volunteers who manage the Farm are fully aware of the tremendous appeal that the  property has for photographers and artists alike due to its natural beauty and landscapes. We are also acutely aware of the impact this has on our neighbors. WFPI encourages the use of the Farm by the public in general. Things you NEED to know:

Fees:
o As a public property that’s open to the public from dawn to dusk, there are no fees. As WFPI is a 501c3 charitable organization, your charitable donation (watersfarm.org/product/donation), volunteerism, and/or membership (https://watersfarm.org/membership) is appreciated to support the Farm.

Scheduling:

o You may want to check with the Farm to see if there are any scheduled activities or private events that may conflict with your needs by leaving a message at (508) 865-0101 or sending an email to info@watersfarm.org.  A volunteer will get back to you. For the public event schedule, check out our website (www.watersfarm.org) or our Facebook page (Waters Farm Preservation Inc).

Manchaug Pond Overlook:

o The Overlook is NOT part of the Farm property. Waters Farm is ONLY on the left side of Waters Road.  For permission to take pictures at the Overlook, please contact the Manchaug Pond Foundation  by filling in the form at https://www.manchaugpond.org/contact-us/

o Please do not sit or climb on the rock walls at the Overlook – it’s a historic structure that’s being preserved and there’s a hazerdous risk of a second story fall to the ground below.

Parking:
o Waters Road is a public road. Please be  respectful of our neighbors. When visiting the Farm, we encourage everyone to park near the Darling Barn (first driveway to the left). Limousines, buses, and large vehicles must park at the Darling Barn.

o Waters Road must be kept open to traffic. There is NO parking allowed on either side ofthe road from the private homes up to the Overlook.
