Revolutionary War Encampment and Battle

Waters Farm and the 13th Regiment regret to inform everyone that the Revolutionary War Encampment and Battle scheduled for June 4-5, 2022, has been cancelled. While this cancellation is certainly heartbreaking and disappointing to everyone, we assure you that the decision was not taken lightly and only after extensive investigation into all possible options. In the end, the logistics of holding a successful battle were becoming increasingly challenging.
As many of you know, this event was originally planned for 2020 and was postponed due to the nationwide shutdown for the Covid-19 pandemic. Proper event planning typically takes more than a year, which was impossible to accomplish due to the resurgence of Covid throughout 2021 and into 2022.
Waters Farm will continue to work with the 13th Regiment to host and sponsor future events and will continue to coordinate with the Town of Sutton to access suitable venues for battles and to hold other historical encampments and programs.
